A Direct Shipping Line to be Established between Iran and South Africa and Latin America

Babak Afgahi, Chairman of the Trade Development and Non-Oil Export Commission of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, stated that a direct shipping line will be established between Iran, South Africa and Latin American countries in the near future.

Afgahi announced that the line in question is expected to depart from the southern ports of Iran and, after stopping at South African ports, it will sail to Latin American countries, especially Brazil.

According to unofficial statistics, it was stated that the export volume of Iran and South Africa reached 43 million dollars in the first six months of last year, and this figure was 27 million dollars in the first half of the previous year.
